Passport
- Upload coloured copies of the front and last page of your passport.
- Ensure that passport should be valid for 6 months from the date of entry to Oman

- Upload scanned colour copy of your passport-sized photograph.
- Photo should be taken against a white background.
- Dimensions should be 45mm height x 35mm width.
All Indian passport holders require a valid visa to enter Oman
You need to be fully vaccinated with Covishield or any of the EMA-approved vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covishield) to travel to Oman

1. Can i apply for an Oman visa on arrival?
2. Do i need a printed copy of the Oman e-visa?
Yes, the traveler may be required to present the Oman E-visa printout upon your arrival at the entry checkpoints. Once you receive the approved E-visa on the registered email, get it printed on an A4-sized sheet; ensure that the details such as your application ID, visa number, and visa validity are clearly visible.
3. Do i need to personally visit the Oman consulate/embassy to get my e-visa?
No, you are not supposed to visit the Consulate/Embassy. You can easily book your Oman visa online as Indians are eligible for an Oman e-Visa.
4. Do i need to take health/travel insurance?
Although travel insurance is not mandatory to apply for an Oman Tourist visa from India, applicants are strongly advised to get reliable health/travel insurance. It usually takes around 6 working days for the Oman visa application to process, provided that the information is authentic and complete.
7. How long is the Oman visa valid for?
The Oman Visa is valid for 3 months and cannot be extended. While the stay period depends upon the type of visa applied i.e. either 10 days or 30 days. In case you wish to reapply for an Oman visa online, you will be required to leave the country first.
8. On arrival into Oman, what documents do i need to show?
At entry, the traveler might be required to show a valid hotel booking, confirmed return tickets, and sufficient cash in addition to a valid passport and the E-Visa printout. Apply for your Oman tourist visa online right away.
9. What are the passport requirements for applying for an Oman e-visa?
The Applicant’s passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of entry in the country and should have a minimum of 2 blank pages.
10. What is the fine for overstaying for Oman?
Oman has a very strict policy regarding overstaying the visa duration. In case of an overstay, the traveler will be liable to pay a minimum of OMR 10 (around INR 1,220 ) for each day you overstay. Therefore, it is important to keep track of your visa’s expiration date and leave Oman before it expires.
