This document checklist is standard but not exhaustive. The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents based on specific use cases.

   Passport

• Valid for 6 months beyond the last intended date of departure from Singapore
• Should contain at least 2 blank visa pages
• Should have no alteration or handwritten amendments in the data pages

       Photograph

• Two recent colored passport size photographs (35 mm wide by 45 mm high without border) and taken within the last 3 months
• Applicant full face must be clearly visible without any headgear taken against a plain white background

        Flight ticket

• Applicant needs to provide confirmed/booked round trip flight tickets to Singapore
• We recommend to book refundable tickets just in case your visa gets rejected

      Cover Letter

• A Covering letter from the Applicant on A4 Size Paper (if Employed) or else on Business Letter Head (if Self Employed)

    Proof of sufficient funds for undertaking travel

• Applicant needs to provide last 6 months bank statement in case the applicant is employed else need to provide bank statement of the person sponsoring your trip
• All bank statements must be dated within the last 1 week
• In case applicant is self employed then Company’s last 6 months bank statement is also required

       NOC

• NOC from employer (if employed) along with ID card copy / Business card
• Salary slips for 3 last months along with copy of employment ID card

         GST Copy

• If Self Employed then applicant need to provide a GST Copy

       Invitation

• In case the applicant is invited from United Kingdom then – The valid Passport copy of the Invitee along with their financial documents & Invitation letter mentioning purpose of inviting

       Pan card

• Applicant may need to provide other financial documents like Xerox copies of FDs/ LICs / property valuation certified copy to make their application stronger

      Accommodation

• Applicant must provide confirmed Hotel Voucher
• We recommend to book refundable hotel booking just in case your visa gets rejected
• In case staying with relative/friend then there Local address in Singapore along with their Id proof copy along with invitation letter from their end

      Business Card

• Applicant need his Business card

       Travel Insurance

• Travel insurance is mandatory with coverage of minimum 50,000 USD per person
• All expenses which include repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention or emergency medical treatment in hospital
• The insurance should cover the entire stay in the territory of Singapore

All Indian passport holders require a valid visa to enter Singapore. 

Each applicant must have all the mandatory documents as mentioned in requirement tabs above.

In addition to the documents mentioned, our visa experts or the concerned embassy may require you to furnish additional documents to process your visa. Your cooperation in furnishing any such additional documents is essential for a positive outcome.

Fee may vary for country if rate of exchange for Singapore dollar fluctuates.

Visa fee is nonrefundable whether visa is approved or rejected.

1. Can i get arrival endorsement on the passport after enrty through a Singapore visa from India?

    No, instead an electronic pass is issued for all visitors applying for a Singapore visa from India.

2. How many days does it takes for the Singapore visa to process?

    It takes around 3 to 5 business days for a Singapore visa to process. Therefore, it is advisable to apply for one well in advance of your intended date of arrival in the country. 

3. It is necessary for me to print the approved E-visa to enter Singapore?

    We recommend you print and carry the E-visa, as you may be requested to present it at the immigration checkpoint. Make sure to print the approved electronic visa on A4 paper, in color or black and white.

4. Is an interview required for a Singapore visa from India?

    No, you are not obligated to give an interview for a Singapore tourist visa from India.

5. Should i book my flight/hotel before applying for Singapore visa?

    No, you don’t need to book any flight or hotel till the time your Singapore visa gets approved.
